The Grounds of the Institute cover almost 200 achres. The main driveway up to the Administrative Building is flanked on both sides by fields with peathingys idly struting along.
To the left of the main building is the Silmarillion Wood which contains a wide variety of different trees and has dense and sparse patches.
To the right of the main building the sloping fields continue unhindered until they reach the fences a long way away.
Behind the main building the Teaching Blocks are arranged in a semi-circle with shady paths, tree tunnels and connecting corridors leading back to the main Institute.
Also the recreation buildings containing the Swimming Pool etc. are both to the left and the right of the main building.
Further behind these is the lake which is quite large. In the middle is a small island where students can go to relax. A small dock is perched on the edge of the lake containing a houseboat, several rowing boats and a portable jetty.
Surrounding the lake is more fields.
But further away from the lake, on its left, is the famous Chimera Maze. This is one of the most complex mazes in the world and is actually more like a Labyrinth. This is where part of the final exams for each subject are held.
(Please PM either myself or Mr. Chimera if you have any ideas for any other things that could be added to the grounds.)
